C’mon England! A big night tonight as two mighty strikers, Kane & Haaland, battle it out in what we hope will be a feast for the eyes. As ever, this newsletter provides a weekly feast for the ears. I would also like to think Haaland approves, being known as a fan of heavier electronic music.

Kane not so much, he’s more a country music fan, but hey, maybe he’d be into it if he ever read the newsletter.

Record of the Week: Hemmi - Strobe

Let me put you on to Hemmi, a lad from East London who is creating some serious Bass. He’s had a recent release on Southpoint which featured in the newsletter, but this one on HANAMI deserves Record of the Week. The first drop will have you skanking low, then the second drop hits and it chins you right in the smackers. This will be on all night if England takes the win.

I’m a big fan of Diffrent, a German UKG producer who knows his way around a remix. His latest Feel So Good Around U has a sample you’ll likely recognise and is addictive in the best way. Our other big remix this week is none other than MPH, remixing Fred again.., Travy, Elzzz - DID IT AGAIN. This is just premium production from 2 big talents.

Honestly though all the beats in this list deserve a spin, they’re corkers. If you like the free downloads section, Declan Knapp’s Stay High remix is unmissable.

Main Phase @ Keep Hush, Copenhagen: Main Phase, one half of ATW (IPC being the other), brings us a more understated, minimal, bass-driven set. I’m a big fan of this more recent sound of his. He recently teamed up with Talons to release the Attenuation EP, which is a stellar listen, but the sound of this EP carries through this set. Pretty sure there’s some unreleased Josie Devil in here. Heavy, bassy, great.
