And we are off! One of the most clinical attacking performances from an England team at a World Cup this side of the millennium (please don't unsub Scottish readers). During this period you can't deny the charm of being subjected to Vindaloo, Sweet Caroline and Wonderwall for the next few weeks, but I do wonder what they play in the dressing room to get hyped up?
I doubt it's a niche UKG track with 200 plays on SoundCloud, but if they ever want any suggestions, send them this way. There is no-one in the world that would listen to this week's set of the week by MPH and not follow up by banging in a hat-trick, it's science, of the brain.
Onto the tunes.
Record of the Week - Juni, Scrappa - Pump It Up
This one drops hard, a high octane UKG track that would test the mortar of warehouses across the UK. Juni, a lad from Málaga and Scrappa, from Sydney have put some real graft into this one. Recognisable UKG sounds, doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it sits good on the ears. Very pleasing indeed.
Speaking of classic sounds, we have a few great picks that hark back to the old school garage days, we're talking contemporary takes on an iconic sound. NIKEN - Sound of 58 embodies this perfectly. But also check-out Tuff Trax - Feel The Vibe (Malps Remix).
Fancy something a bit harder? En:vy has you covered with this 140 beat that sounds like you're being shot at by a laser deep from outer space. Or maybe someone messing around with one of those groan tubes? Either way. Goes off.
Plenty more to get your ears around.

MPH @ [undisclosed location], Hollywood: It's likely you won't be a stranger to an MPH set by now. His heavier selections that span UK Bass, UK Garage, Breaks and beyond gained him a huge following across 2025 and the earlier part of this year. He drops straight into an unreleased one with Chris Lorenzo which lands hard with some very Skrillex-coded sound design. It doesn't really let up from there. Another banger set to soundtrack your weekend.
